WELCOME TO CHALET LES MÉLÈZES
Les Mélèzes is our holiday home, but,
as we can’t be there all the time,
it is available to rent for you to use as
your home from home.
Perfectly positioned in the centre of the
French-speaking Valais region of Switzerland, the
picturesque village of Ovronnaz is ideal
for enjoying the crowd-free powder bowls or
the tree lined pistes on offer from the top
of the modern “Jorrasse” chair lift, or for
exploring the vast number of other ski areas
accessible within 45 to 60 minutes door to
door.

In the summertime, close
the door to the hustle and bustle of modern
life and sit amongst the mountains on the
lawn terrace listening to the vast array of
birdlife or the gentle sounds of the cow
bells high in the summer pasture at Tzantonaire and Lutze.
Set on the edge of the
forest paths simply put on your boots and
walk. It’s as simple as that. Don’t forget
the cheese or the bottle of local Fendant
wine in
your rucksack though! Oh, and the sun cream. We are at 1450 metres so the air is thin and
the rays are very strong.
